(SAMS), has been recognized as a Trailblazing Woman in Business by the Fairfax County Commission for Women in Recognition of Women’s History Month 2017. The Proclamation honors pioneering women who continue to successfully challenge the role of women in the economy and who have worked to eliminate social challenges for other working women. Dolores Trevino-Gerber, who works at the Northern Virginia Labor Federation, was also recognized in the Proclamation as a Trailblazing Woman in Labor. The Proclamation Ceremony is scheduled for March 22.
SPRINGFIELD, VA, March 9, 2017 – Strategy and Management Services, Inc. (SAMS) has been awarded a one year contract with four option years with the Department of Justice to provide Budget Operations for the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) in the District of Nevada. SAMS will help the USAO meet its mission by assisting in the overall processes and function of the budget operations by providing record and file maintenance, reviewing and processing vendor payments, and examining documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations.

(SAMS), has been awarded a Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Employees who are either National Guard members or Reservists are able to nominate individual supervisors or bosses for the exemplary support they provide to the employee and family of the Service Member. Staci was nominated for the award by SFC Frye, who serves in the West Virginia Army National Guard.

Award honorees are comprised of the top minority business owners and executives in the Washington D.C. metro area who are wholly committed to leadership, corporate philanthropy, and ethics.
SPRINGFIELD, VA, January 26, 2017 – Strategy and Management Services, Inc. (SAMS) has been awarded a one year contract with two option years to provide support for the Operational Manager, Joint United States Forces Korea (USFK) Portal and Integrated Threat Recognition (JUPITR) Systems. JUPITR provides USFK with an integrated surveillance, collaboration and information sharing capability for information relating to biological threats. The Joint Program Executive Office-Chemical Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) initiated the JUPITR Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) to demonstrate, transition and transfer the best operating concepts and technology solutions to counter biological threats. A successful operational demonstration in June 2015 conducted in the Republic of Korea (ROK) led to such capabilities to be provided to locations in the ROK as identified by the USFK. SAMS has been providing such support under contract to the Operational Manager, JPEO-CBD, since 2013.

(SAMS), braved the ice and rain while honoring America’s heroes by volunteering at the Wreaths Across America campaign. The annual event took place at the Arlington National Cemetery on December 17 with the theme “Say Their Names.” Volunteers were able to successfully place a wreath on every single grave.

(SAMS) has been awarded a monumental contract with the Joint Actions Control Office (JACO) within the Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB) Office. SAMS’ responsibilities include project management, technical writing and editing, administration support, and archive and library management services, and other additional services that are necessary to continue to accomplish the NGB JACO mission.
SPRINGFIELD, VA, Dec. 5, 2016 – Strategy and Management Services, Inc. (SAMS) has been honored as a Best Workplace for Commuters in Fairfax County, Virginia. The award is given in recognition of employers in Fairfax County who have implemented green commuter programs, such as ride-sharing, transit benefits, among other beneficial strategies. The program is sponsored by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) in order to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles on the roads.
