Nearly every company has a vision that provides future goals and an ultimate direction for the business. Unfortunately, not every company follows their vision, and many times lower level employees are not even aware of that essential vision is. A key to a successful business and an implemented vision is to follow that vision throughout every decision and project within the business. Make sure every employee, regardless of position, is aware of that vision and is dedicated to reaching the goals within.
Whenever a big decision or contract comes up, evaluate them against your vision to ensure they correspond. Even if it costs your company money, do not agree to accept business that would push you further away from successful implementation of your future goals. Doing so would push you farther from them and could compromise what you are trying to achieve.
