SAMS is proud to recognize the efforts of Operation Love Letters

Springfield, VA – April 2, 2015 Strategy and Management Services, Inc. (SAMS) is proud to recognize the efforts of Operation Love Letters; a program orchestrated under an Army contract currently supported by SAMS.  Operation Love Letters began approximately three years ago to support the military families grieving the loss of their loved ones.   This event provides a cathartic release and gives them the opportunity to share memories of the fallen.

“The challenges faced when overcoming the loss of a loved one are plenty, but the resilience and courage the families of our military exude is admirable,” stated SAMS President and CEO Staci Redmon.

The significance of this event and the comfort it provides to military families was recognized by Florida Senator, Marco Rubio.  Senator Rubio expressed his appreciation saying, “We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the men and women who have chosen to serve our nation in uniform.  While we honor the fallen, we also honor their family members who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.  The strength and support of our military families is a vital part of our national defense.  I am proud of programs and organizations like the Army Reserve Family Programs for their continued efforts to assist families in finding information, support, and other resources for their loved ones.”
