The award-winning government and commercial contracting company continues to expand its expertise in the federal arena

SPRINGFIELD, VA – January 27, 2015 - Strategy and Management Services, Inc. (SAMS), an award-winning provider of innovative operations, management and technology solutions for federal agencies, state and local governments and commercial buyers, announces today that it has been awarded a new contract with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In particular, SAMS will assist in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Dairy Programs which aims to facilitate the efficient marketing of milk and dairy products throughout the United States.

Following an initial information collection process focused on the five key divisions and their leadership, SAMS will develop a comparative analysis and an early draft of recommendations for AMS’ mission, vision, and values statements. From there, a comprehensive document addressing the goals, objectives, and performance actions specific to each division will be generated and presented as the building blocks of the larger AMS strategic plan.

SAMS has conducted projects previously with the USDA, and brings industry-leading experience in tracking the entire product lifecycle to uphold compliance and quality standards while driving top results and response.

SAMS and the USDA Agricultural Marketing Services’ Dairy Program have begun their partnership with a kickoff meeting to develop the Dairy Program strategic plan. Using SAMS proprietary strategic planning methodology, the Dairy Program will be able to identify the outcomes most important to the Dairy Program’s stakeholders.
